Day 198

December 11th, 2018 at 12:18 am

I spent the morning putting the finishing touches to 33 little baby hats, using the last of my fingering wool. I have knitted over 200 this year. They are coming with me to the Mount Abu Hospital to be distributed to newborns (it is winter in Rajasthan and the temperature drops to zero at night).

Great job on those baby hats!

You can sell them on Etsy if the people in Rajastan don't want them.

How kind of you! My goal is to make baby quilts to give away. I make lots to give away, but I want to do more to give to preemies or needy people, etc.

My mother in law does a lot of quilting for charity, quilts are GREAT! They're warm, comforting, made with love, they can be artsy, they tell a story, they make great memories and you can tailor them for the person receiving the quilt.
