Keeping healthy...

...costs money. I renewed a prescription today. $25 for the dr's scrawl on a piece of paper and $15 at the pharmacy.

We are only allowed 3 refills and must see a physician for a new script even on RX we've been on for years.. It's very annoying and I feel I'm taking time from people who are ill. In winter I must slip slide on treacherous roads across town and back. aargh.

I could understand if it were a controlled substance or dangerous med but tablets for blood pressure or Lipitor are chronic and so wasteful for our gov't supported plan

I actually see the nurse to check on my bp and bloods. The doctor signs the form later. It still costs $25 to get it done over the phone.

Hi Tina welcome back here, I see that you have bought your self a new house too!

I have only come back on here after a short break of only few months.

I hope you are feeling better and can get back to PT work in the future.
