Emergencies

It's not just the financial kind that hit. On Tuesday there was a robbery at a nearby bank, on Wednesday there was an earthquake. and last nite it snowed again. Best to be prepared for a few days coping on my own, so I filled up some containers with water and am now slowly filling a box with canned food and a first aid kit, torch, radio etc. And a couple hundred dollars in cash just in case (gold bars are too heavy)

    Good idea Tina, I have done that and I am not in an earthquake zone. But If the ATM or power goes off then we will be ahead of some others with our boxes.

    Oh, hey, I heard of your earthquake once on the radio news, then nothing further was said about it....I really should have earthquake insurance. Is that offered where you live?
