I live in beautiful New Zealand, where we are fortunate to have a good Social Welfare system. Living on a benefit is not all the envious reckon: I'd much rather be living on my own investments.
Yesterday I dropped my watch and it stopped working. As it originally cost me $20 from K Mart 5 years ago, I didn't cry over it. Today I bought another one.
I wear a watch I got with Amazon gift credit for $20 at least ten years ago! I've replaced the band -- and it will need it again soon -- but it's still working!
