I live in beautiful New Zealand, where we are fortunate to have a good Social Welfare system. Living on a benefit is not all the envious reckon: I'd much rather be living on my own investments.
I almost envy you-it is already so hot here! And then it rains and rains, almost like the tropics. I just went back and reread your blog,the archives that is, it is amazing how many things have happened since I first started reading your blog. It is also amazing how much that started happening several years ago in NZ is now happening here. Its like the whole world has gone financially topsy turvy. I wonder if it will ever get back to normal. Glad the snow melted and gave you a gift.
